Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM)

All matter is made of atoms.

Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) is an electrical, therapeutic treatment modality providing current in millionths of an ampere (the same as a human), used to treat a wide array of conditions, including acute injuries, chronic pain, inflammation, stress and anxiety. 

FSM greatly increases the production of ATP which is used to transport energy to cells for biochemical processes, including muscle contraction and enzymatic metabolism. It also increases protein synthesis which is necessary for tissue repair. This dramatically increases the rate of wound healing while minimizing the production of scar tissue.

Red Light Therapy

Red light therapy (RLT) is a treatment modality that is growing in popularity for natural healing, in part because it treats the cause of bodily dysfunction rather than masking symptoms as is so often the case with pharmaceuticals today, unfortunately.  

Numerous clinical studies suggest that this non-invasive, painless, and natural therapy stimulates the mitochondria, providing energy that helps heal tissues deeper in the body, which manifest themselves in visible, surface-level skin improvements.  

During treatment, light in the visible red spectrum and the invisible near-infrared spectrum is delivered to bare skin using light emitting diodes (LEDs) calibrated to emit wavelengths of light that each have specific therapeutic value. 

In the next section, we’ll discuss some of the main benefits of RLT. 

Pre/Post Surgery-Injury

The combined use of Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) and Lymphatic Massage can greatly reduce recovery time (in some cases 50% or more). 

FSM increases ATP (Adenosine triphosphate), cellular energy necessary for healing by 500%.  Both therapies reduce inflammation, eliminate bruising and minimize scarring throughout all layers of tissue, not just on the skin.  Adding Red Light Therapy is an additional healing enhancement. 

Pilates

Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. Typical Pilates workouts tend to be 45 minutes to an hour long.

Pilates is a whole body conditioning program that works on strengthening the deep abdominal and back muscles that are essential for providing support for the spine.  Exercises are precise, controlled movements, requiring concentration.  This mind/body connection assists in recovering from physical and brain injuries and surgeries.

One of the most significant benefits of performing corrective exercises is that it helps loosen up the muscles and connective tissues in your body. Often, these parts of the body are tight because of improper alignment and lack of flexibility. 

Corrective and rehabilitative exercises are safe and effective functional movements for all populations and teaches things that can be done at home.
